Why This Service

Backups first. Legal changes only. No guessing.

Professional OEM-style Ford programming. You know exactly what's happening before, during, and after.

Backups First — Always

Full as-built module backup before any configuration change. If anything looks wrong, we restore before you leave.

OEM-Style Only

We work within Ford's own engineering — enabling and disabling factory-programmed features, nothing more.

No Tuning · No Deletes

No emissions tampering, no engine tuning, no immobilizer bypass, no odometer changes. Legal OEM configuration only.

Southern Oregon Local

Based in Southern Oregon, serving Roseburg, Grants Pass, Medford, Eugene, Coos Bay, and surrounding communities.

Transparent Pricing

$100/hour with a 1-hour minimum. No hidden fees. We tell you what's possible — and what isn't — before we start.

Compatibility First

We verify your year, trim, and module before booking. If a feature isn't supported on your vehicle, you'll know upfront.

Common Modifications

What We Can Configure

Availability depends on vehicle year, trim, and installed hardware. We verify compatibility before any work begins.

Disable Double Horn Honk

Remove the two-honk lock confirmation for quieter operation in neighborhoods, driveways, or anywhere the noise is unwanted.

Bambi Mode / Fog + High Beams

Enable fog lights to stay on when high beams are active. Factory default turns fogs off when you switch to high beams.

Auto Start-Stop Configuration

Disable or adjust automatic engine stop-start where supported by the vehicle year and module version.

Support varies significantly by model year and trim.

Global Windows

Enable key fob long-press to open or close all windows and the sunroof simultaneously — great for venting a hot truck.

Digital Speedometer

Enable the digital MPH/KPH display in the instrument cluster on vehicles where the hardware is present but the feature is inactive.

TPMS Display Changes

Configure how tire pressure monitoring information is displayed in the instrument cluster.

LED / Hyperflash Configuration

Fix hyperflash when running LED turn signals by adjusting the module's flash rate parameters.

Compatible module required. Not all versions support this.

Remote Start Configuration

Adjust remote start run duration, climate behavior, and other remote start parameters.

Trailer Brake Controller

HW req.

Enable the integrated trailer brake controller feature on trucks with the required module hardware installed.

Requires integrated trailer brake controller module.

Tow Mirror & Lighting Setup

Configure tow mirror signal pass-through, lighting behavior, and trailer lighting sync.

Power Folding Mirror Retrofit

HW req.

Program the BCM to recognize and operate power folding mirror motors after a retrofit installation.

Requires power folding mirror motors already installed.

High Idle / PTO Configuration

Configure high-idle parameters and PTO-related module settings on supported Super Duty platforms.

Support varies by year, engine, and trim. Ask first.

Lifted Super Duty Adaptive Cruise Calibration

When a Super Duty is lifted, the front radar module's vertical aim shifts relative to the road — causing adaptive cruise to malfunction, disable itself, or behave erratically. FORScan allows adjustment of the radar module's vertical aim offset to compensate for lift height and restore normal ACC function.

Results depend on lift height and sensor mounting position. Extreme lifts may also require physical sensor bracket adjustment.

Speedometer Correction (Tire Size)

Larger tires make your speedometer and odometer read incorrectly. FORScan can adjust the tire size or axle ratio parameters in the instrument cluster and ABS/SABS module so your displayed speed matches actual speed after a tire size change.

Correction accuracy depends on new tire diameter. Provide your tire size at booking.

Scope of Service

What We Do & What We Don't

Transparency is part of the service. This is strictly legal OEM-style configuration — nothing else.

We Do

  • OEM-style feature programming via FORScan
  • Ford module configuration and diagnostics
  • As-built backup before every change
  • Module restore from backup when needed
  • Retrofit feature activation when hardware is installed
  • Convenience, lighting, cluster, and tow configuration
  • Pre-purchase module scan and DTC read
  • Fleet and upfitter configuration on Super Duty

We Don't

  • Emissions system deletes or tamperingDPF, DEF, EGR, cat — illegal under federal and state law
  • Engine tuning or performance modificationsFuel maps, boost targets, timing — not what we do
  • Immobilizer or anti-theft bypassWe do not bypass PATS, theft deterrent, or start inhibit systems
  • Odometer or mileage correctionsIllegal. No exceptions. We will not discuss it.
  • Features requiring uninstalled hardwareSoftware cannot manufacture capability the hardware doesn't support
  • Anything unsafe or illegalFull stop.

Service availability depends on vehicle year, trim, installed hardware, and module support. We do not perform emissions deletes, engine tuning, immobilizer bypassing, odometer changes, or illegal/unsafe modifications. Requests for excluded services will not receive a response.

How It Works

The Process

From first contact to a configured vehicle. Six deliberate steps with a backup checkpoint built in.

01
01

Send Vehicle Info

Submit your year, make, model, trim, engine, and the features you want configured. The more detail, the better.

02
02

Confirm Requested Features

We verify what's supported on your specific vehicle and modules before booking. No surprises on appointment day.

03
03

Backup Modules

Before touching any configuration, we create a full as-built backup of every affected module. Non-negotiable first step.

04
04

Apply Supported Changes

Requested features are programmed via FORScan over your OBD-II port. We work deliberately — one change at a time.

05
05

Verify Function

Each change is tested and confirmed active. We check that the vehicle is operating normally before ending the session.

06
06

Save Restore Notes

Session is documented. Backup is retained. If anything ever needs to be reverted, we have the original state on file.

Step 03 — module backup — is never skipped.

DIY vs Guided Service

Why Guided Local Service?

DIY FORScan is genuinely possible if you know what you're doing. Here's an honest look at what each approach involves.

Factor
DIY FORScanSelf-service
Guided Local ServiceRecommended
Technical knowledge required
High — AS-built format, hex values, PIDs
None — we handle the technical work
Compatible OBD-II adapter
Must source yourself ($20–$100)
Included
Module backup before changes
Manual — only if you know to do it
Always — non-negotiable first step
Feature compatibility check
Self-research — forum posts may not match your trim
We verify your year/trim/modules before starting
Risk of misconfiguration
Real — wrong values can affect module behavior
Low — deliberate changes, verified after each one
Time investment
Hours of research + trial and error
One appointment, typically 1 hour
Cost
Adapter cost + your time
$100/hour, 1-hour minimum
Restore if something looks wrong
Possible if you remembered to back up
Backup always on file — restore if needed

This comparison is honest — if you're comfortable with FORScan and know your vehicle's module layout, DIY is a real option. For everyone else, this saves time and reduces risk.
